Jiangshi Nature Reserve

Jiangshi Nature Reserve is located in Xiaojiafang Township in the southwest of Shaowu City, bordering Taining County. The mountainous area features Danxia landform, with numerous peculiar rocks, sheer cliffs, and caves scattered across the landscape. The undulating mountains and winding valleys are crisscrossed by the Xincuo Stream, which forms nine bends and thirteen turns navigable by bamboo raft, creating exceptionally beautiful scenery. The area boasts picturesque landscapes and numerous scenic spots, especially along the Jinxi Stream. Towering and densely packed strange peaks and rocks line both banks, as if carved by axes and knives, forming a variety of natural wonders such as Monkey King Peak, Immortal Dragon Peak, Huguang Rock, Immortal Terrace, Five Tigers Facing the Lion, Water Curtain Cave, and Camel Peak.
