Shaowu Yunling Mountain is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.

Fujian Yunling Mountain Scenic Area is located beside National Highway 316 in Longdou, Shuibei Town, Shaowu City, Fujian Province, just 15 kilometers from the city center. The scenic area follows the development philosophy of "emphasizing environmental protection, safety, and a brand-new tourism experience," and is constructed strictly according to the national AAAA-level scenic area standards.

Yunling Mountain has been comprehensively developed as a high-end tourism brand offering integrated tourism services with multiple functions and diversity. The first phase of the scenic area primarily features canyon rafting, star-rated hotels, premium specialty dining, and island wellness hot springs, combining adventure, entertainment, and leisure.

Fujian Yunling Mountain Scenic Area is situated beside National Highway 316 in Longdou, Shuibei Town, Shaowu City, Fujian Province, just 15 kilometers from the city center. The planned development area covers 17 square kilometers, with a total investment of 2.13 billion yuan. The development axis spans from National Highway 316 to the main peak of Yunling Mountain, which rises to an elevation of 1,370 meters. The main tourism projects are based on the 10.88-kilometer Fuchan Creek and its surrounding areas, and the development will be carried out in three phases. It has been listed as a key tourism project in Fujian Province.

The scenic area’s visitor reception center covers an area of 128 mu and includes an information center, parking lots, star-rated public toilets, a rafting lower dock functional area, a leisure square, star-rated hotels, dining shops, and other comprehensive tourism facilities.

The first phase of the scenic area officially opened to the public in May 2012. Among its offerings, the "Canyon Rafting" project originates from Yunling Mountain at an altitude of 1,370 meters. The rafting course follows the canyon downstream along the rapids, stretching 5.2 kilometers with a drop of 216 meters. The route features rugged rocks, unique shoals, and crystal-clear waters, flanked by lush green forests, offering a serene and beautiful experience. The rafting course is divided into two sections: the first 3.3-kilometer stretch, known as the "Extreme Thrill Drift," provides an exhilarating challenge with a brand-new "push-your-limits" experience, including a 26.8-meter drop at one point and featuring a nationally unique innovative design of "one riverway, two slides." The second 1.9-kilometer section, called the "Passion Drift," offers a refreshing journey through fascinating gorges and playful currents, suitable for all ages. Star-rated hotels, premium specialty dining, and water adventure trails were also opened to the public at the same time. In addition, the scenic area will implement a brand-new management concept, achieving a unified "one-" management system.

The second phase of the project has also commenced, with planned attractions including a brand-new concept Yunling Mountain Water Town Fishing Village, Yunling Mountain Lake Water Park, Yunling Mountain Bungee Jumping, a high-altitude eco-friendly Yunling Mountain Lake Resort, a garden tea plantation, an agricultural science park, a 3D concept cinema, a sightseeing corridor, a charming resort wooden cabin complex, a primitive forest leisure area, and a ancient tree nature conservation viewing area—offering a variety of fun-filled tourism experiences.

Shuibei Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Shaowu City. Established as Hongbei Commune in 1958, renamed Shuibei Commune in 1960, restructured as a township in 1984, and upgraded to a town in 1992. Located in the northern part of the city, it faces the urban area across the Futun River to the south. Covering an area of 511 square kilometers with a population of 20,000, the town government is stationed on Jiefang Road in the urban area. The Yingxia Railway passes through the town, and National Highway 316 and Shuishan Highway run via here. It administers 11 village committees: Daqian, Longdou, Yangmeiling, Shangping, Wangting, Damo, Guxian, Yidu, Erdu, Sandu, and Sidu.
