Pingpinglingling Site
The Pingpinglingling Site is a cultural heritage protection site under Shaowu City.
The Pingpinglingling Site is located at the locomotive depot in Shuibei Town, Shaowu City, and dates back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
The Pingpinglingling Site has been designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.
Shuibei Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Shaowu City. Established as Hongbei Commune in 1958, renamed Shuibei Commune in 1960, upgraded to a township in 1984, and established as a town in 1992. Located in the northern part of the city, it faces the urban area across the Futun River to the south. It covers an area of 511 square kilometers with a population of 20,000. The town government is stationed on Jiefang Road in the urban area. The Yingxia Railway passes through the town, and National Highway 316 and Shuishan Highway run through here. It administers 11 village committees: Daqian, Longdou, Yangmeiling, Shangping, Wangting, Damo, Guxian, Yidu, Erdu, Sandu, and Sidu. Mineral resources include fluorite, kaolin, potassium feldspar, quartz, and others.
