Shaowu Mosque is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Shaowu.

Shaowu Mosque is located on Heping Lane, Zhaoyang Subdistrict, Shaowu City, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Shaowu Mosque has been designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Zhaoyang Subdistrict: Zhaoyang Subdistrict is situated in the southeastern part of the urban area, bordered by Chengfeng Community's Puchang Group on the east along National Highway 316, Fushan Temple and Shaowu City Zhaoyang Subdistrict on the south, Wusi Road adjacent to Tongtai Subdistrict on the west, and the southern bank of the Futun River on the north. After Shaowu was restructured from a county into a city in November 1983, Zhaoyang Subdistrict was established by separating from the former Chengguan Town. It covers a total area of 8 square kilometers and governs 9 community neighborhood committees. By the end of 2007, the permanent population was 30,607, with 7,000 floating residents, resulting in a population density of 4,700 people per square kilometer.[1]
