Dabugang Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Shaowu City. Established as Bao’bu Township in 1947, it became Dabugang Commune in 1958, reverted to township in 1984, and was upgraded to a town in 1992. It is situated in the southern part of the city, 25 kilometers from the municipal government. The town covers an area of 192 square kilometers with a population of 15,000. Shaotai Highway passes through the area. It administers 11 village committees: Dabugang, Wuku, Baoji, Liyuan, Heyuan, Zhuyuan, Jiazhou, Songshuping, Xishang, Wushi, and Tieyang. Mineral resources include granite, mineral water, kaolin, quartz, potassium feldspar, and fluorite.
