County Magistrate's Office

The County Magistrate's Office is a cultural heritage site under Shaowu's protection.

The County Magistrate's Office is located in Heping Town, Shaowu City, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

The County Magistrate's Office has been designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Heping Town: Located in the southwest of Shaowu City, Heping Town covers an area of 192 square kilometers with a population of 21,000.

Heping Town has a long history. As early as over 4,000 years ago, the ancestors of the Yue people settled and thrived here. Its first written records date back to the Tang Dynasty. It was called "Zhourui" in the Tang Dynasty, known as "Heping Li" in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, part of the Thirty-third District in the Ming Dynasty, established as a sub-prefecture of Heping in the Qing Dynasty, designated as the Third District of Shaowu during the Republican era, and officially became Heping Town in 1950.
