The former site of Yan Yu’s Residence is located in Jiezhu Village, Nankou Town, Shaowu City, dating back to the Southern Song Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty.

The former site of Yan Yu’s Residence has been designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

Jiezhu Village: Jiezhu Village is located in the western part of Nankou Town, Shaowu City, about 10 kilometers from the town center. It borders Bianzhu Village to the east, Zhangcuo Township to the south, Dazhu Town to the west, and the Futun River to the north. The village has a population of 1,543, with 430 households, and comprises 11 natural villages and 8 villager groups. In 1987, it was recognized as a “Provincial Civilized Village” by the provincial government, and in 1990, it was honored as a “Star Village of Northern Fujian” by the Nanping Prefecture.
