Jinping Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Shaowu City. In 1949, it was part of the Fifth District; in 1958, it belonged to Heping Commune; in 1961, it was split off as Jinping Commune; in 1984, it became a township. Located in the western part of the city, it is 32 kilometers from the municipal government. Covering an area of 133 square kilometers, it has a population of 7,000. It has road access. The township administers eight village committees: Jinping, Xiàhuángjiē, Húxī, Zhòngxià, Àishàng, Shāngé, Xiàbǎo, and Dàcháng.
