Tiekeng Shrine

Tiekeng Shrine A provincial-level cultural heritage site. It is the third Linshui Palace, also known as the ancestral shrine of Lady Li (Third Mother). Located on Tiekeng Mountain in Yangyuan Village, Yangyuan Township, it was first built in the late Tang Dynasty or early Five Dynasties period, and underwent multiple renovations in the first year of the Kangxi reign (1662), the 59th year of the Qianlong reign (1794), and the 24th year of the Daoguang reign (1844). The existing buildings were reconstructed in the 6th year of the Republic of China (1917). The main structure largely follows the design of Gutian’s Linshui Palace, consisting of the main hall, side hall (dressing tower), and a front-stage theater building (35 square meters in area), covering a total floor space of about 350 square meters. On the 15th day of the first lunar month, the birthday of Goddess Linshui, worshippers from Pingnan, Jian’ou, Shouning, and other nearby counties come to burn incense, offer prayers, or receive divine blessings.
