Luoling Bridge

Luoling Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Luoling Bridge is located in Yangyuan Village, Yangyuan Township, Zhenghe County, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: Built in the ninth year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1883), it is a single-arch wooden covered bridge. The bridge runs east-west, with a total length of 40.5 meters, an arch height of 6.7 meters, and a clear span of 27.6 meters. The covered section covers an area of 175 square meters, is 17 bays wide, has a depth of four columns, and features seating on both sides. It employs a mixed post-and-lintel and through-tenon wooden structural system, topped with a flush gable roof.

Protected area: Extending 30 meters outward from the outer edge of the bridge in all directions.

In 2018, Luoling Bridge was designated as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People's Government of Fujian Province.

Yangyuan Village: Yangyuan Village is located in the southeastern part of Zhenghe County, serving as the seat of the township government and the village where a provincially appointed Party secretary is stationed. With an average elevation of 860 meters and an annual average temperature of 14.7°C, it lies 33 kilometers from the county seat. National Highway 202 and County Road 833 pass through the village, and the Ningde–Wuyishan Expressway has an interchange in Yangyuan. The village administers four natural villages—Fuping, Yangwei, Houshe, and Shenkengyang—with 896 households and a population of 2,539.
