The Tomb of the Zhu Family in Fenglin is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Tomb of the Zhu Family in Fenglin is located in Fenglin Village, Tieshan Town, Zhenghe County, dating back to the Song Dynasty.

Description: Also known as the Tomb of Zhu Sen. The tomb is built with pebbles along the mountain slope, facing southeast and situated northwest, featuring a brick-and-stone structure in a “wind” character-shaped layout, covering an area of 130 square meters. The tombstone was erected during the renovation in the 15th year of the Chenghua era of the Ming Dynasty (1479), measuring 1.4 meters in length and 0.6 meters in width, with the inscription in raised regular script reading “Tomb of Zhu Gong, an Official of the Song Dynasty.” It was renovated again in 1993. Zhu Sen (1075–1125), styled Liangcai, also known as Tuiweng or Tuilin, was the grandfather of Zhu Xi, the renowned Neo-Confucian scholar of the Song Dynasty.

In 2013, the Tomb of the Zhu Family in Fenglin was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

Protected area: An additional 30 meters outward from the perimeter of the tomb.

Fenglin Village: Fenglin Village is located 2.5 kilometers east of Tieshan Town, 10 kilometers from the county seat of Zhenghe. It borders Yuanshan Village to the east, Tieshan Village to the west, Jiangshang and Xiangqian to the north, and Dalin, Xingxi Nianshan, and Dongfeng Village to the south. The village consists of four natural hamlets: Fenglin, Huaqiaotou, Yangtunwei, and Changgeng, with seven villager groups, 503 households, and a population of 1,866. The land area spans 6 square kilometers, including 7,000 mu of mountainous land, 1,621 mu of arable land, 1,356 mu of ecological forest, 2,600 mu of chestnut trees, 1,300 mu of tea plantations, and 700 mu of bamboo groves.
