The village lies 33 kilometers from the county seat. Both National Highway 202 and County Road 833 pass through the village, and the Ningde–Wuyishan Expressway has an interchange here. Yangyuan Village administers four natural villages: Fuping, Yangwei, Houshe, and Shenkengyang, with a total of 896 households and a population of 2,539. The village covers a total land area of 38,248 mu, including 2,278 mu of arable land, 27,722 mu of mountainous land, and 8,248 mu of forested land.
