The Tea-Silver Ancient Road of Sai

The Tea-Silver Ancient Road of Sai is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Zhenghe County.

The Tea-Silver Ancient Road of Sai is located between Jinping Village in Lingyao Township and Huangling Village in Chengyuan Township, Zhenghe County, dating back to the Tang–Song dynasties.

The Tea-Silver Ancient Road of Sai has been designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection site.

Jinping Village: Originally named Suiningchang, it was renamed to its current name in 1951. During the Republican era, it consisted of four small villages: Nanshingshan, Yangkou, Bangdian, and Dingtou. In the 1970s, residential areas were expanded, connecting the four villages. After 1977, a primary school, the village office building, and other facilities were successively built. It administers five natural villages with a total population of 2,086.

Specialized Economy: Jinping currently has 3,291 mu of arable land, 4,000 mu of bamboo forests, 1,000 mu of tea plantations, and 2,000 mu of Chinese chestnut orchards.
