The Huang Weihan Residence is located in Daxi Village, Yangyuan Township, Zhenghe County, and dates back to the Ming Dynasty.

The Huang Weihan Residence has been designated as a county-level cultural heritage site.

Daxi Village: Originally covered in wild mountains and forests, Daxi Village was settled around 700 years ago when ancestors of the Huang family cleared the land, built fields, and established residences. The village was named after the large stream (Daxi) that flows through it. Nestled within open farmland, the village enjoys expansive views and beautiful scenery. In the early years of the People’s Republic of China, there were 38 residential houses housing 54 families and a population of 380. It once served as the site of a small commune. In 1971, a power station was built to provide lighting, and a road connecting Daxi to Xiaxia was completed. By 1988, there were 85 residences housing 108 families and 580 people.
