Zhenghe Tiancun Chouling Scenic Area
The Zhenghe Tiancun Chouling Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.
Chouling Village is situated in the Jiufeng Mountain Range, within the boundaries of Fozishan, a national scenic area and national geopark. Since ancient times, it has been a strategic passageway from northern Fujian to eastern Fujian, facing Fozishan from afar and offering the best panoramic views of the mountain. At an altitude of over 850 meters and with an average annual temperature of 14 degrees Celsius, it is a natural oxygen bar and a summer retreat. In recent years, the Waitun Township has focused on excavating cultural elements such as ancient village folklore and vegetarianism, developing thematic projects with a strong farming culture—featuring rural leisure, local cuisine, and mountain wilderness experiences.
