Lutai Pagoda Temple

Lutai Pagoda Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Located in the eastern part of North Street in Lutai Town. The temple originally consisted of a mountain gate, front hall, rear hall, and side halls forming two courtyards, along with a bell and drum tower, covering an area of 3,600 square meters. It enshrined figures such as the Buddha. It was renovated during the Tianqi era of the Ming Dynasty, and the Qianlong and Jiaqing eras of the Qing Dynasty. Its exact time of establishment is unknown. It was destroyed in the early years after the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Currently, there is a stone stele that records the process of the temple’s renovation during the Jiaqing era. The stele is rectangular with regular script calligraphy and is fully preserved.
