Scenic Peak

At an elevation of 384 meters, standing atop this peak offers a panoramic view of Huangcangyu. In spring, as all things come back to life, the mountains are covered in lush greenery. A gentle breeze rustles the tree branches, creating the illusion of nine dragons playing. The red tiles of the temples stand out vividly, like a splash of red amidst the sea of green. In summer, when the heat is unbearable elsewhere, a cool breeze blows here. The wind sweeps through the green sea, and the rustling of the forest sounds like waves, with ripples dancing. Autumn is the most enchanting season, with the fragrance of wild fruits in the air and a riot of colors. In deep winter, the evergreen pines and cypresses remain vibrant, and snowflakes drifting down create a poetic and picturesque scene. As the poem goes: “Bowing and bending, I tread the mountain in reverence; sweat soaks my clothes as I stand atop the peak. The vibrant hues overwhelm me, making me reluctant to leave, as if I’ve entered a fairyland or a painting—hence the name.”
