Located in Kantuan Town, Lixin County, about 20 kilometers from the county seat, it covers a total area of 1,800 acres, including over 600 acres of water surface. It is a comprehensive scenic area newly built around the Cihuai New River water conservancy project, integrating natural ecology, leisure vacation, water conservancy culture display, and fitness sports. Construction began in 2006, and it is now open to the public.

Kantuan Town: Kantuan Town is a formally established town, situated 18 kilometers southeast of the county seat, on the sunny side of the Xi Fei River and the southern bank of the Cihuai New River. The Lifu and Liying highways run through it, making it a major route from Lixin to Huainan and Hefei. The middle section of the Cihuai New River flows through Kantuan, where a key hydraulic project has been constructed. Locks and pumping stations stand tall and connected, dominating both land and waterways, controlling drought and flood, and forming a magnificent sight in Kantuan. From atop the locks, one can gaze at the new river—the green embankments and blue waters blend into one, with sails dotting the horizon and ripples dancing on the surface. At night, the sparkle of lights and fishing boats creates a picturesque scene, making it an excellent destination for sightseeing and tourism.
