Diigou Ecological Tourism Scenic Area in Funan County’s Yingshang is located in Tangdian Town in the northeastern part of Yingshang County, at the confluence of the Ji River and the Xi Fei River. It borders Fengtai to the east and neighbors Lixin to the north, with Provincial Highway 204 running north-south through the area. It is a national 4A-level scenic spot. Before 1994, this was a desolate wetland, but later, taking advantage of the terrain and aligning with the trend of tourism development, on the foundation of a small 600-acre farm left over from 1958, planning and construction were carried out simultaneously to build an eco-tourism destination integrating Buddhist culture. The main attractions of the park include Zhuyin Temple, the Hall of Five Hundred Arhats, and the Ecological Garden. The Hall of Five Hundred Arhats is remarkably well-preserved, with all statues intricately carved from camphor wood, making it “a shining pearl in the treasure house of Chinese sculpture art.” Zhuyin Temple and the Hall of Five Hundred Arhats form a cohesive complex, creating a comprehensive Buddhist cultural site and a multifaceted tourist attraction. The Ecological Garden is an environmentally friendly, tourism-oriented ecological park. The landscape features lakes, islands, hills, and gardens arranged in a harmonious layout. It includes a world-renowned monkey park with 600 monkeys of 18 different species, one of the larger artificial swan lakes in East China, an island home to hundreds of rare birds, and the uniquely distinctive Lion-Tiger Mountain.
