The Buddhist Grand View Garden is a large-scale collection of main scenes from over a hundred Buddhist sacred temples, crafted through artistic carving, painting, and pasting using leather and rice paper — the first of its kind in China. This magnificent creation of the Buddhist Grand View Garden was meticulously produced over two years by the renowned painter Mr. Yun Jingzi and his students, at a cost of hundreds of thousands of yuan. The Buddha statues here are: the finest in Buddhism, having undergone solemn consecration ceremonies conducted by eminent monks from the sacred Buddhist site of Mount Putuo. Among the grand works are a 6-meter-tall and 3-meter-tall Tathagata draped in golden silk, radiating Buddha’s light. There are also a hundred Buddha statue works including the Eastern Trinity, Western Trinity, Bodhisattvas, and the Thousand-Armed Guanyin, among others. These works allow us to visually appreciate the essence of Buddhist culture, sensorily experience the profound richness of Buddhist heritage, and provide us with an artistic enjoyment.
