Qimen Yiben Hall

Yiben Hall is a cultural heritage site protected by Anhui Province.

Yiben Hall is located in Qimen County, Huangshan City, dating back to the Ming Dynasty.

Also known as the "Ancestral Temple of Grand Master of the Tang Dynasty Zheng," it serves as the ancestral hall for the seven branches of the Zheng family in the southwest of Qimen. Originally built during the Tang Dynasty as a family shrine, it was destroyed in the Yuan Dynasty, rebuilt during the Zhengde era of the Ming Dynasty, and underwent major renovations in the Republic of China period. The structure consists of four sections: the gate tower, ceremonial gate, main hall, and inner sanctum. The hall is 64.7 meters long and 23.7 meters wide, with a total area of 1,533 square meters, ranking first among ancestral halls in Qimen. On February 28, 2012, Yiben Hall was designated as part of the fourth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage sites by the Huangshan Municipal People's Government, and then on December 26 of the same year, it was further listed as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the Provincial People's Government—less than a year apart.

In 2012, Yiben Hall was listed as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People’s Government of Anhui Province.

Protective boundary: 5 meters beyond the heritage site in all directions—east, south, west, and north.

Construction control zone: 20 meters beyond the protective boundary in all directions—east, south, west, and north.
