It serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of the former Shanli District’s three townships. The town covers a total land area of 140.72 square kilometers, comprising 8 villages, 59 villager groups, 2,632 households, and 9,290 residents, including 8,529 agricultural population. The arable land spans 7,642 mu, tea plantations cover 8,158 mu, and forested mountainous areas extend over 179,198 mu, with a forest coverage rate of 83%.
