The forest coverage rate is 84%. Mineral resources include high-quality porcelain clay, quartzite, as well as lead-zinc and gold deposits. The administrative area includes 7 administrative villages, 54 villager groups, 1,977 households, and 7,180 residents. There are 4,106 laborers, with around 900 people working outside the township each year.
