The Site of the Taihoukeng Porcelain Clay Mine is located at the foot of the southern slope of San Yuan Group, Zhuangling Village, Jinzipai Town, Qimen County, beside the Hangyuan Stream. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty.
The Site of the Taihoukeng Porcelain Clay Mine has been designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.
Zhuangling Village: Basic Overview of Zhuangling Village
Zhuangling Village is located at the southeastern edge of Jinzipai Town. The village has a total of 6 villager groups, 198 households, and 678 residents, including 428 laborers. The mountainous area covers 11,636 mu, including 1,200 mu of bamboo forest, with 720 mu of arable land, 680 mu of paddy fields, and 430 mu of tea plantations. The village is rich in forest resources, and forestry and forest by-products are the dominant industries. The village-run forest farm is the largest enterprise in the village, with an annual net income of 50,000 yuan. The main income of the villagers comes from migrant work.
