The Hexian Xiangquan Tourist Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Xiangquan Tourist Area is located in Xiangquan Town, Hexian County, with superior tourism resources. Centered around the Xiangquan Hot Springs and featuring “six mountains, two bodies of water, and one ancient town,” it not only has high-quality mountain and water landscapes but also rich cultural heritage. It is a comprehensive holiday resort integrating hot spring wellness culture, Zhao Ming culture, cultural sites of notable figures, local chronicle culture, religious culture, old street culture, regional culture, red culture, rural culture, and culinary culture.

Xiangquan Hot Springs Resort was honored as the “Most Wellness-Valued Hot Spring in China” in 2012. It is a tourist destination that combines wellness and health care, dining, conferences, and leisure entertainment. The China Heart-Nourishing Valley is home to a thousand-year-old hot spring known as the “Best Hot Spring Under Heaven.” It is now a national four-star tourist resort hotel and has been included in the “Wellness Holiday Warm Journey” premium route of Anhui Province at the World Expo. The legend of “Crown Prince Soup” in Xiangquan Town has been listed as one of the fourth batch of intangible cultural heritage projects in Hexian County. The various attractions in the Xiangquan Tourist Area are developing well, and the tourism service system has taken initial shape. Key scenic spots such as the Crown Prince Soup Hot Spring Resort (hot springs, Zhao Ming Academy, Zhao Ming Pagoda), Xiangquan Lake, Peach Blossom Island, and Guanyin Mountain (Guanyin Temple, Guanyin Cave) have been established.
