Liyang Mosque is a municipal cultural heritage site in Ma'anshan.

Mosque: Located at No. 330 Wenchang South Road, Liyang Town, He County. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty.

On June 5, 2015, Liyang Mosque was designated as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Ma'anshan.

Protected area: within 5 meters outside the structure; construction control zone: within 10 meters outside the structure.

Liyang Town: Liyang Town, anciently known as Yafu City, was founded over 2,000 years ago by Fan Zeng, the Marquis of Liyang. During the Eastern Han Dynasty, it served as a station of the ancient Yangzhou commandery. It is now the political, economic, and cultural center of He County, recognized as a “Star Township,” one of the “Top Ten Townships,” and an “Advanced National Spiritual Civilization Township” in Chaohu City. The town covers a total area of 164 square kilometers, governing 17 villages and 8 communities, with a population of 133,000, including approximately 100,000 urban residents.
