The Jixi Huizhou Cuisine Culture Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The national AAAA-level tourist attraction — “Model Workers’ Huizhou Cuisine Culture Park” in Jixi, Anhui, is situated in the scenic area on the northern outskirts of Jixi County. Backed by lush green hills and facing tranquil waters, it lies only 1.5 kilometers from the county center. The park is primarily built in the Huizhou architectural style, marked by dark tiles, white walls, and horse-head gables, and decorated with intricate brick, wood, and stone carvings. It emphasizes the harmonious integration of cultural and natural landscapes, showcasing an artistic style that combines elegance, simplicity, and splendor. The park currently covers an area of approximately 22,000 square meters and is divided into five functional zones: the Huizhou Cuisine Culture Exhibition Area, the Leisure Experience Area, the Production and Processing Exhibition Area, the Huizhou Cuisine and Local Specialty Products Exhibition Area, and the Gourmet Tasting Area. It displays over 2,000 precious images, documents, historical materials, objects, and relics related to Huizhou cuisine culture.

The park systematically presents various aspects of Jixi Huizhou cuisine, including its ecological environment, historical origins, Huizhou cuisine itself, Huizhou chefs, Huizhou restaurants, anecdotes, local folklore, heritage and development, signature Huizhou dishes, as well as the processing of local agricultural specialties and tourism products. It offers a comprehensive reflection of the profound and extensive Huizhou cuisine culture of Jixi. Visitors can observe the cooking techniques of Huizhou cuisine on-site, purchase classic Jixi Huizhou dishes, local agricultural products, handicrafts, and travel souvenirs, and enjoy delicious local dishes. Supporting facilities such as the “Huizhou Merchants Grand Hotel,” “Model Workers’ Grand Hotel,” and “Model Workers’ Travel Agency” provide visitors with one-stop services covering food, accommodation, and transportation. Signature Huizhou dishes produced in the park, such as “Model Workers’ Brand Braised Pork,” “Jixi Stinky Mandarin Fish,” and “Hu’s Supreme Pot,” have been honored as “China’s Famous Dishes” and “China’s Famous Snacks.”
