Located at the entrance of Tangtou Village, Chang’an Town, Jixi County, the ancestral hall faces south and spans an area of 845 square meters. Constructed in the Qing Dynasty, it consists of three sections front and back with front and rear courtyards. The front section is a hip-and-gable roofed five-phoenix pavilion, with carved beams on the gate depicting scenes from legends; the middle section has a gable roof resembling the Chinese character “人,” and its brackets and block-and-tie components are carved with human figures and floral patterns; the rear section is a bedroom building that is higher than the middle section, featuring an arched roof. Its brackets and dougong blocks are also exquisitely carved. The side rooms in the middle and rear sections have no latticed partitions for decoration. The ancestral hall underwent major renovations in 2007 and remains largely intact. In June 2011, it was designated as a sixth-batch county-level protected site under approval document No. Jizheng [2011] 46; in 2016, it was listed as a second-batch municipal-level cultural relics protection unit under approval document Xuangzheng Mi [2016] 219. In 2019, it was announced as an eighth-batch provincial-level cultural relics protection unit by the People’s Government of Anhui Province.

Tangtou Village: Tangtou Village is situated to the west of Chang’an Town, bordering Sihou of Shangzhuang Town to the west, connecting to Madao Village to the east, adjacent to Zhuangtuan Village to the south, and linked to Wuchuan Village to the north. It currently includes three natural villages and six villager groups, with a total population of 2,425. The village has 1,495 mu of paddy fields, 150 mu of dry land, and 1,208 mu of mountainous land, covering a total area of 6.36 square kilometers. The Hao (Zhai)–Song (Jia) Highway runs through the village, which lies 2 kilometers from Provincial Road 217.
