The Fang Clan Wenchang Pavilion is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Anhui Province.

Located within the Industrial Bureau of Lijianjiao County in Huayang Town, it faces south and has three bays in both width and depth, covering an area of 20 square meters. This two-story building features a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof, stands 9.5 meters tall, and was constructed in the seventh year of the Jiaqing reign during the Qing Dynasty (1802). It retains its original appearance and is where the Fang family stores genealogical records, manuscripts, and worships the Wenchang Emperor. The pavilion has a square floor plan, symbolizing good fortune in all directions. Its walls rise to two-thirds of the structure’s height, with the lower eaves projecting outward. The second floor is surrounded by operable lattice windows. The wooden structure combines both post-and-lintel and Dougong (interlocking wooden bracket) construction methods. The mountain-wall columns reach the full height of the building, and the central bay’s first- and second-floor columns are staggered. Decorative elements such as brackets, beam supports, and diagonal braces are adorned with exquisite carvings. The structure is rigorous yet delicate, with bold, lively, and cheerful lines. In 1986, it was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site under approval document Ji Zheng [1986] No. 128; in 2016, it was listed as a municipal-level cultural heritage site under approval document Xuan Zheng Mi [2016] No. 219. In 2019, it was announced as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People's Government of Anhui Province.

The town administers five community neighborhood committees and four village committees, covering an area of 83 square kilometers with a population of 43,000. It currently has 490 hectares of arable land, including 337 hectares of paddy fields.
