Located beside the highway at the entrance of Zhentou Village, Chang’an Town, the cemetery covers a total area of 36 square meters. In August 1936, a unit of the Red Army guerrilla force passed through Zhentou. The local self-defense militia of Zhentou attempted to block their advance, leading to a battle in which an unidentified Red Army soldier lost his life. To honor this fallen unsung hero, a tomb mound was erected in January 1965, making it an important patriotic education base in our county. In 2000, it was designated as a county-level cultural relic protection unit, approved under document number Jizheng [2000] No. 31. In 2017, it was listed as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit, approved under document number Xuanzheng Mi [2017] No. 45.

Zhentou Village: As the seat of the Chang’an Town government, Zhentou Village was formed in 2005 through the merger of the former Zhentou, Lianchuan, Lanshi, Gaoshan, and Lingjiao villages. It lies 26 kilometers from Jixi County and serves as a key village and transportation hub in northern Ling. Provincial Highway 217 runs through the village, and both the Zhentown and Zhenshu highways start here, offering convenient transport links. The village has a population of 3,005, comprises 10 villager groups, and includes 11 natural villages across an area of 27.2 square kilometers.
