Shixiao Archway is a cultural relic protection unit of Jixi County.

Shixiao Archway

Located in Renli Village, Yingzhou Township, it is a Ming Dynasty structure, facing southwest to northeast, covering an area of 7.5 square meters. Built during the Ming Dynasty, the archway consists of a single horizontal beam supported by two pillars, with the top part damaged. Constructed from coarse granite, its decorative plaque is inscribed with “Shixiao Archway, Erected on the Thirteenth Day of the Ninth Month of the Fourteenth Year of the Chenghua Reign, Great Ming.” The archway spans a main street running north to south. Its upper and lower horizontal beams feature exquisitely carved auspicious patterns that are well-preserved, demonstrating considerable cultural heritage value. In 1997, it was designated as a key cultural relic protection unit of the county under approval document Jizheng [1997] No. 35.
