The Zhang Yiquan Residence is a cultural heritage site protected by Jixi County.

Located at No. 19 Bajiao Well Road, Huayang Town, it covers an area of 215 square meters and was built during the Qing Dynasty. The structure consists of symmetrical upper and lower halls, interconnected second-floor walkways, east and west side rooms, a central courtyard, and enclosed firewalls. The interior features finely carved lattice windows, diagonal braces, and spandrels. The eastern kitchen, which had deteriorated over time, has been demolished and rebuilt, while the western auxiliary building, which had lost many of its lattice windows, has also been restored. Overall, the architectural structure is well-preserved and holds certain cultural heritage value. In 2000, it was designated as a key cultural relic protection unit of the county, with approval document number Jizheng [2000] No. 31.

Huayang Town: With a history of two thousand years, Huayang Town is now the seat of the Jixi County government and serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of the county. The town administers five community residential committees and four village committees, covering an area of 83 square kilometers with a population of 43,000. It has 490 hectares of arable land, including 337 hectares of paddy fields.
