Yuchuan Huanxiu Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Jixi County.

Huanxiu Bridge

Located at the entrance of Yuchuan Village, Shangzhuang Town, it was built in the late Qing Dynasty, covering a construction area of 355 square meters. This bridge is a four-pier, three-arch stone structure, 27 meters long, 4 meters wide, and 7 meters high. The Changxi River flows beneath Huanxiu Bridge. It functions as both the water outlet bridge of Yucun and as a connecting bridge between Shangzhuang and the village. It was wholly funded by Wang Lipolitical, the famous “Tea King” of the late Qing and early Republican period from the Shanghai-Hangzhou area, and remains well-preserved to this day, holding certain cultural heritage value.

Yuchuan Village is located 1 kilometer west of Shangzhuang Town, Jixi County, adjacent to Shangzhuang Village. It is an ancient village with a proud history and rich cultural heritage. It is the hometown of the famous modern poet Wang Jingzhi and the prominent tea merchant Wang Yutai, as well as a well-known revolutionary base area in the county. The Yuchuan Village Committee administers two natural villages, Yuchuan and Jinshan, with 473 households, 1,643 residents, 932 mu of arable land, and 14,432 mu of mountainous land.
