Located in Zhushan Village, Fuling Town, the ancestral hall faces west and spans 318 square meters. It has three courtyards and five bays, featuring a hybrid raised-beam and through-tenon structural system. The front section includes a hip-and-gable five-phoenix tower with an arched roof, the middle section has an arched roof at the front and a gable-and-hip roof at the back, and the rear section is a two-story building on a pounded-earth floor with front and rear courtyards and enclosed firewalls. The diagonal braces, camel humps, and flat trays inside the hall are exquisitely carved. The ancestral hall is largely well-preserved and holds certain historical value.

In 1949, the Zhushan Reorganization marked a decisive victory for the Jixi workers' and peasants' revolution. Over 400 troops from the main force were organized into two battalions, four companies, and one local company. The First Battalion was led by Commander Shu Mengxiong and Political Instructor Dai Jixiang; the Second Battalion by Commander Sun Zhongyou and Political Instructor Wang Zonghan. The First Company was formed from the original First Company of the Wanxi Detachment, with Company Commander Tao Rong and Party Secretary Zhou Yilong; the Fourth Company from the original Second Company, with Company Commander Zhang Shenghe; the Fifth Company from the original Fifth Company, with Company Commander Chen Dehong and Party Secretary Wang Mingde; and the Local Company from the Shuinan guerrilla unit of She County, with Company Commander Yu Xiukun. Additionally, there was a cultural troupe of over 30 members directly under the Wanxi Detachment, led by Captain Zhu Fan and Political Instructor Huang Shifang. The Hu Clan Ancestral Hall served as the quarters for the Fifth Company. The cultural troupe was stationed at the Gao Clan Ancestral Hall, which functioned as both dormitory and rehearsal space. The Hu Clan Ancestral Hall and the square outside were used as training grounds for the reorganized troops.

Fuling Town: Situated in the southeastern part of Jixi County, Fuling Town borders Masiao Township of Lin’an City, Zhejiang Province to the east, Yingzhou Township to the south, Yangxi Town to the west, and Jiapeng Township to the north. The Jixi-Hu Highway runs north-south through the entire territory, and the Hukan Highway connects directly to the provincial-level Wutun Highway. The town government is located 22 kilometers from the county seat. The town covers a total area of 183 square kilometers, about one-sixth of the county’s total area, with mountainous land spanning 216,350 mu, arable land of 14,145 mu, a total population of 21,232, and 6,164 households. It administers 12 village committees.
