Located at No. 18, Shui Zhen Pang, Huayang Town, it faces south and covers an area of 347 square meters. Built in the late Qing Dynasty, it features a water-ground blue brick gate tower, a flush gable roof, and a combined post-and-lintel and bracket-arm construction. The structure consists of a single-entry, three-bay layout with upper and lower halls, a central courtyard, east and west wing rooms, a clay-tamped floor, and an official hall design. The main gate includes a wooden screen wall, which could be opened in the past to receive important guests. The flat tray brackets are decorated with ruyi patterns, while the dougong brackets below feature decorative grass dragon motifs. The column bases are shaped like boots, and the corridor windows are adorned with diamond and fretwork patterns used in combination. The interior east-west window panels are carved with relief designs of plum, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum. To the left are three auxiliary rooms, rebuilt after being destroyed by a tornado in 1979. The middle auxiliary room contains a well. To the left of the auxiliary rooms lies a courtyard. After the liberation, Ge Jianhan served as the deputy county head of Jixi and made outstanding contributions to the county’s cultural and educational development. The residence is largely intact and holds significant cultural relic value.

Huayang Town: Huayang Town is a historic town with a 2,000-year history. It currently serves as the seat of the Jixi County government and is the political, economic, and cultural center of the county. The town administers five community neighborhood committees and four village committees, covering an area of 83 square kilometers with a population of 43,000. It has 490 hectares of arable land, including 337 hectares of paddy fields.
