Located at the foot of Fengsu Mountain in Yingzhou Village, Yingzhou Town, beside the former road of the Third Front Guangming Factory, the tomb was originally built in the Song Dynasty (1175) and has a history of over 840 years. It is the only well-preserved Song Dynasty tomb discovered so far within the county. Having been renovated multiple times, it was repaired once during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty and again in the year Bingxu of the Daoguang era (1826). In 2003, local residents of Yingzhou Village voluntarily raised funds and, adhering to the principle of restoring the site as close to its original state as possible, carried out a large-scale renovation of Yun Gong’s Tomb. In 2015, the exterior of the tomb was further decorated. The renovated tomb complex covers an area of approximately 60 square meters, faces east and is situated west, taking a semi-elliptical shape. Preserving Yun Gong’s Tomb is of great significance for studying the family precept culture of the Zhang Clan in Jixi, as well as for the ongoing initiatives in family values education and the promotion of integrity and clean governance.
