The former site of the Xiaojihua Farmers' Association is located at No. 2, Kengzi, Xiagu Village, Jingxi Township, Jingde County. It faces south with its back to the north and is a building from the Republican era. The structure features a single-entry, three-bay layout with side rooms on the east and west. There are auxiliary buildings on the left and rear sides. It has a flush-gable roof and a pounded-earth floor. The building is generally well preserved, though there is slight peeling of brick and earth on the second floor. This was the location where the first township-level democratic government in the anti-Japanese base area of southern Anhui — the Farmers’ Association of Jiuhua Township — was proclaimed, and it was also the site of the renowned Jiuhua Defense Battle (also known as the 37-Day Struggle in Jiuhua), which shocked the mountainous regions of southern Anhui and northern Zhejiang as it aimed to protect this newly established red political power, the Jiuhua Township Farmers’ Association.

Xiagu Village: Xiagu Village is situated in the central part of the township, about one li from the township government seat. The "Jingzhou Passageway" runs through the village, providing convenient transportation. The village covers a relatively small area of approximately 2 square kilometers, with 673 mu of arable land, 130 mu of forested land, and 100 mu of grassland. It administers seven villager groups, with 383 households and a population of 1,320. Due to limited arable land relative to the population, the main sources of income for local farmers include planting hickory nuts, growing high-altitude vegetables, raising black pigs, and a small amount of tea production.
