A national 4A-level tourist attraction. The Dabie Mountain Rainbow Waterfall Scenic Area is located in Huangwei Town, northern Yuexi County. Spanning an area of 40 square kilometers, its core scenic area covers 3.2 square kilometers. It is 34 kilometers from both Yuexi and Huoshan county towns, and just 1.5 kilometers from the Huangwei exit of the Liu’an–Liuan section of the G35 Ji-Guang Expressway. Key highlights within the scenic area include the Rainbow Waterfall—the tallest in East China at 85 meters—and pristine granite river valleys and deep, serene gorges. It is a landscape-oriented destination that integrates canyons, waterfalls, crystal-clear waters, and cultural elements.

Huangwei Town: Yexi Town is situated at the junction of Anhui and Hubei provinces, and at the intersection of Taihu, Yuexi, and Yingshan counties. It is a major agricultural town in the southwestern border area of Yuexi County, located 86 km from the county seat. Provincial Highway S211 runs through the town. The town has 11 administrative villages, 240 villager groups, 5,912 households, and a total population of 24,147 as of 2005. It covers an area of 84 square kilometers, with 17,941.4 mu of cultivated land and 75,000 mu of mountainous land.
