Yanjia Village is situated about 5 kilometers south of Huangwei Town, Yuexi County, Anqing City, Anhui Province, roughly 62 kilometers from the county seat. It borders Pingdeng Village, Yunfeng Village, and Zaoshu Village in the same town. Provincial Highway Shihuang stretches from north to south across the village, while the Liuan Expressway runs close by, with the Shamao exit just 1.5 kilometers away, ensuring very convenient transport. The village is surrounded by rolling mountains and peaks stretching for miles, boasting beautiful scenery with clear waters and lush forests, vast mountainous land, and abundant local specialties and water resources. The Yanjia River has a 12,000-kilowatt hydropower station, which has the highest power generation capacity among all hydropower stations in the town. The village’s specialty, small river fish, is famous throughout the county for being fragrant, tender, and crispy. Cedar trees and high-mountain Cuilan tea are also distinctive products of Yanjia Village.

Yanjia Village: Located in the central part of Huangwei Town, Yanjia Village covers an area of 11.3 square kilometers with extensive forest coverage and a pleasant climate. It administers 14 villager groups, with a population of 1,294 in 2009. Both the provincial highway from Yuexi to Huoshan and the Liuan Expressway run through the village, with the expressway exit just about 1.5 kilometers away.

The village is rich in resources, including a large-scale hydropower station invested in and built by the province, as well as a medium-sized stone processing plant. The main industry, tea, is developing steadily, with nearly 1,000 mu of tea plantations in the village, including 250 mu of pollution-free, high-yield tea gardens.
