The Former Sites of the Red 34th Division's Activity Areas are listed as a Cultural Relics Protection Unit of Anhui Province and a Classic Red Tourism Scenic Area.

The Former Sites of the Red 34th Division's Activity Areas (Hu Clan Ancestral Hall, Wang Clan Ancestral Hall in Jinshan Village, Wang Clan Ancestral Hall in Xiangchuan Village, Wu Clan Ancestral Hall – Lide Hall, Chu Clan Ancestral Hall, Wang Clan Branch Ancestral Hall) are located in Xiangchuan Village and Jinshan Village, Xiangchuan Town, Yuexi County, Anqing City; Helin Village, Maojian Mountain Township; and Dongying Village, Wenquan Town. These sites date back to the modern era.

In 2019, the Former Sites of the Red 34th Division's Activity Areas were designated as part of the eighth batch of Provincial-level Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People's Government of Anhui Province.

Xiangchuan Village: Located in the central area of Xiangchuan Town, Xiangchuan Village encompasses 35 villager groups, with a total of 1,013 households, covering an area of 8.77 square kilometers (including 5,992 mu of mountain land, 2,794 mu of paddy fields, and 913 mu of dry land). The village office faces the town government across the river, making it the political, economic, and cultural center of Xiangchuan. The area enjoys convenient transportation and abundant information resources. Three village-level cement roads span a total length of 18.5 kilometers. There is also a small Type II irrigation reservoir with a water storage area of 4.5 mu. Three small rivers flow east-west into the Xiangchuan River. The village has 129 commercial shops and 6 private processing enterprises.
