Wang Family’s New House in Wanyuan Village is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.

Wang Family’s New House in Wanyuan Village is located in Wanyuan Village, Hetu Town, Yuexi County, Anqing City, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Constructed during the Qing Dynasty, Wang Family’s New House in Wanyuan Village faces southwest and is oriented from the northeast. It features three courtyards with two side wings, connected east-west wing courtyards, and an intricate network of internal passageways. The architecture is tall, sturdy, simple, and practical.

In 2012, Wang Family’s New House in Wanyuan Village was announced by the People’s Government of Anhui Province as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units.

Protected area: 10 meters beyond the structure in the east, south, west, and north directions.

Construction control zone: 15 meters beyond the protected area in the east, south, west, and north directions.

Wanyuan Village: Our village is located in the northwest of Hetu Town, bordering Jinyang Village to the east, Liangting Village and Shuangfan Village of Baimao Town to the south, Shangfang Village of Gufang Township and Taohe Village of Yingshan County, Hubei Province to the west, and Yingtai Village of Yingshan County, Hubei Province, as well as Jinguifan in Jinyang Village to the north. It is named Wanyuan Village because its geographical location is at the source of the Wanshui River system. The village was formed through the merger of the former Donghua Village and Gulu Village. On Shangfangtian in our village lies the former site of the Red Twenty-Fifth Army headquarters, which is the origin of the Red Twenty-Fifth Army's Long March.
