The Old House at Duijiuwan

The Old House at Duijiuwan is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.

The Old House at Duijiuwan was built during the Ming Dynasty. It faces from southeast to northwest. The main gate is made of wood, with four simple door ornaments on the lintel. The second gate features a stone frame with a wooden door; the door is secured with horizontal wooden bars fixed into holes drilled in the stone. The back is a screen wall with four pillars and three gates. The central hall of the second courtyard is three bays wide and three bays deep, with a five-rafter beam structure. The side rooms on both sides have embroidery towers. The rear main hall is one bay wide, with one side room on each side and one wing room on each side. The old house is well-preserved, with its beams, pillars, carved decorations, and floor layout all retaining the style of the Ming Dynasty. The siting of the house pays attention to feng shui principles, with a rational layout, scientific structure, and the use of the "refined interior, plain exterior" design approach.

Protection Scope: 20 meters to the east, south, west, and north beyond the main structure.

Construction Control Zone: 20 meters to the east, south, west, and north beyond the protected area.
