The former site of the meeting activities of the 28th Red Army at Dianqian River (including Qianzhuping Old House and the Cheng Family Ancestral Hall) is located in Hexi Village and Sikong Village, Dianqian Town, Yuexi County, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

On September 22, 2017, the former site of the meeting activities of the 28th Red Army at Dianqian River was designated as part of the seventh batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Anqing City.

Dianqian Town: Located at the junction of Yuexi, Taihu, and Yingshan counties in both Anhui and Hubei provinces, Dianqian Town is home to Mount Sikong, renowned as the First Sacred Mountain of Chinese Zen Buddhism and a national AAAAA-level scenic tourist attraction. It serves as a pilot town for comprehensive institutional reform in Anqing and is among the 63 key towns in Anhui Province as well as one of the model towns in the province’s “Hundred Towns, Thousand Villages” new rural construction initiative.
