The former site of Taiyue County is a cultural heritage protection unit of Anqing City.

The former site of Taiyue County is located in Dianqian Village, Dianqian Town, Yuexi County, dating back to 1948.

On September 22, 2017, the former site of Taiyue County was designated as part of the seventh batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Anqing City.

Dianqian Village: Dianqian Village is situated at the foot of Mount Sikong, known as the First Sacred Mountain of Chinese Zen Buddhism. It was formed through the merger of Dianqian and Hedong villages. The village administers 32 villager groups, with 783 households and a population of 3,280, covering a total area of 9.3 square kilometers. It borders Tiandao Village to the east, Sikong Village to the west, reaches the Sikong River to the south, and is divided from Dagang in Zhongxin Village by the mountain ridge to the north. The arable land covers 979.9 mu, including 779.9 mu of paddy fields, 200.5 mu of dry land, and 7,850 mu of mountainous land. Dianqian Village serves as the seat of Dianqian Town and is located 70 kilometers from the county seat of Yuexi.
