Jinpen Ancient Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Anqing City.

Jinpen Ancient Bridge is located in Jinpen Village, Yexi Town, Yuexi County, dating back to the Southern Song Dynasty.

The arched Jinpen Ancient Bridge is situated in Yexi Town, Yuexi County. Built during the Southern Song Dynasty, it has stood for over 1,000 years and is well known locally. The bridge rises more than 10 meters high, is 3 meters wide, and spans 20 meters. Its body is semi-circular with a single stone arch and a full longitudinal stone slab structure. Each stone joint is filled with tung oil-lime mortar, giving the bridge an elegant shape and smooth lines. Ancient vines and old trees on both banks of the river complement the villa-style farmhouses near the ancient bridge.

On October 23, 2012, Jinpen Ancient Bridge was announced as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units in Anqing City.

Jinpen Village: Located at the northeastern tip of Yexi Town, Jinpen Village is 2 kilometers from the Yexi Town government. It borders Mount Sikong, the foremost mountain of Chinese Zen Buddhism in the south, and is home to the famous Southern Song Dynasty ancient bridge — the Arched Bridge. Encircled by mountains and featuring flat terrain that resembles a “golden bowl,” the village gets its name from this distinctive landscape.
