Tangchi Liu Clan Ancestral Hall

The Tangchi Liu Clan Ancestral Hall is a cultural heritage site protected by Anqing City.

The Tangchi Liu Clan Ancestral Hall is located in Tangchi Village, Wenquan Town, Yuexi County, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

On October 23, 2012, the Tangchi Liu Clan Ancestral Hall was designated as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Anqing City.

Tangchi Village: Tangchi Village was established in July 2004 through the merger of the former Tangchi, Shitai, and Lusi villages. The newly formed Tangchi Village administers 32 villager groups and one community, with 1,025 farming households (including 196 individual businesses on Wenquan New Street), a population of 3,678, a land area of 4.05 square kilometers, cultivated land of 1,859 mu, and mountainous area of 1,094 mu. It serves as the seat of the town government and various town-level institutions. The municipal model middle school—Tangchi Middle School—is located in Tangchi Village. As the political, economic, and cultural center of Wenquan, the village is just 5 kilometers from the county seat and lies in the urban–rural fringe.
