West Lake Cultural Square

West Lake Cultural Square is located on the north side of the Grand Canal at Wulin Square in Hangzhou, situated in the city center within the jurisdiction of Xiacheng District. It is just 2 kilometers from West Lake, covering an area of 13.3 hectares with a total construction area of 350,000 square meters and an outdoor plaza of about 100,000 square meters. The main tower is the 41-story, 170-meter-high Zhejiang Global Center. The entire square integrates culture, entertainment, performances, exhibitions, fitness, and more. The design of the square draws on the unique architectural backdrop of Hangzhou’s West Lake culture, canal culture, and ancient pagoda culture, combined with the splendid imagery of modern civilization, reflecting the refined essence of the Wu-Yue culture.
