Dongyue Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiashan County.

Dongyue Temple is located in Dongyue Temple Natural Village, Hualian Village, Xitang Town. Dating back to the Republican era, it is categorized as a modern-era significant historical site and representative architecture.

On December 15, 1986, Dongyue Temple was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Jiashan County.

Hualian Village: Hualian Village is situated on the eastern side of Xitang Town, covering an area of 3.91 square kilometers with 3,270 mu of arable land. The village's economy is primarily agricultural, with three main income-generating sectors for local farmers: greenhouse vegetables, rice field aquaculture, and marsh shrimp farming. The village has a total population of 1,779, comprising 543 households across 23 villager groups and 12 natural villages. There are 71 Party members in the village. In 2013, the total output value of industrial and agricultural production reached 235.455 million yuan, with 2.5 million yuan in village disposable funds and an average per capita income of 17,530 yuan for villagers.
