The Main Hall of Lianhua Nunnery is located at Lianhua Jing in Zhanshing Village, Yaozhuang Town. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

On December 15, 1986, the Main Hall of Lianhua Nunnery was designated as a cultural relics protection unit of Jiashan County.

Yaozhuang Town: Yaozhuang, situated in the northeast of Jiashan County — known as the “Silver Jiashan” — lies 80 kilometers east of Shanghai, 98 kilometers west of Hangzhou, and 90 kilometers north of Suzhou. Covering a total area of 30.8 square kilometers, it administers nine administrative villages and one community neighborhood committee, with a total population of 30,000, including 10,000 “new Jiashan residents.” The town features flat terrain, fertile land, mild climate, and distinct seasons, earning it the reputation of being a “land of fish and rice.” In 2006, the town's gross domestic product was expected to reach 950 million yuan, with a combined industrial and agricultural output value of 7.5 billion yuan, of which industry contributed 7.22 billion yuan and agriculture 280 million yuan. … More details about Yaozhuang Town++
