The 1884 *Jiashan County Annals* record that it was built in the 27th year of the Kangxi reign (1688), renovated in the 9th year of the Jiaqing reign (1804), and rebuilt in the 2nd year of the Guangxu reign (1876). It was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit in June 2010.

Covering an area of 79 square meters, Lanco Bridge is a single-arch stone bridge oriented slightly northwest from east to west, spanning the Jishui Port. It is 24 meters long, with a bridge deck 2.7 meters wide and abutments 3.3 meters wide, featuring a rise of 5.5 meters. The arch ring is constructed using the vertical joint, sectional, and parallel-laid method. The bridge deck is flanked by solid parapets, with trumpet-shaped approaches on the east and west sides, each having 22 steps. Platforms are located at both ends of the bridge approaches. The eastern platform bears an inscribed stone reading: "Completed and erected on a propitious day in the 12th month of the 28th year of the Kangxi reign (1689), Great Qing." As one of GanYao Town’s historic arched bridges, and featuring inscribed stonework and decorative cloud motifs, it holds certain historical and artistic value.

On June 7, 2010, Lanco Bridge was announced as a Jiashan County cultural relics protection unit.
